Who we are

Since 1959 we turn metal into value.

SAHA METAL SAN. TİC. A.Ş. is a family company whose foundations were laid in 1959 by A. Rıza Saha. Saha Metal Ticaret sold various metals and alloys to many customers and soon became one of the most important suppliers in the sector.

Today we produce zinc oxide, zinc ingot and copper ingot at our plants in Kahramankazan, Ankara; as Saha Metal, we are one of Türkiye’s largest producers of zinc oxide, zinc ingot and brass ingot.

History

From trade to production.

  1. 1959

    Foundation

    Saha Metal Ticaret was founded by A. Rıza Saha and established itself in the sector by selling various metals and alloys.

  2. 2001

    Zinc ingot production

    Saha Metal San. Tic. A.Ş. was founded in Ankara 1st OIZ to meet the zinc ingot needs of galvanizing plants.

  3. 2nd plant

    Capacity increase

    Soon after, a second plant was built to produce zinc oxide, zinc ingot and brass ingot.

  4. 2006

    ZNO Kimya

    Our group company ZNO Kimya was founded in Niğde Bor OIZ to produce feed-grade zinc oxide.

  5. 2012

    Central laboratory

    Following the first laboratory set up at ZNO Kimya in 2007, the Saha Metal central laboratory was opened.

Production & export

From Ankara to the world.

At our production plants, American and French process furnaces are used to produce high-quality zinc oxide.

A large part of our products is exported to industrial manufacturers abroad under annual contracts . The zinc ingots and brass ingots produced at our plants are also supplied to our customers in Türkiye and abroad.

Why Saha Metal

A partner in recycling and quality .

The galvanizers’ recycling partner

Saha Metal buys about 80% of the total tonnage of zinc ash discarded by the galvanizing industry in Türkiye. Producing zinc ingot from zinc ash is an important recycling process. The fine zinc ash that passes through the sieve is sold to feed-grade zinc oxide producers.

Control from production to shipment

To achieve high-quality products, every step from production to shipment is carefully controlled; raw materials and products are tested both in our own laboratories and in independent laboratories before being delivered to our customers.

With our well-trained staff, corporate structure and customer-focused approach, our aim is first to build trustthrough our quality, fair prices and service, and then to take our long-term cooperation with our customers and suppliers even further.
